CEE is always pleased to welcome new members to our organization. As you can see, our members are cover a wide breadth of organizations dedicated to ensuring a level playing field for US goods and services. We have small businesses, multi-national corporations, financial institutions, as well as trade associations.
Our approach is to be a “force multiplier” for our members. Rather than operate as a traditional trade association, we prefer to remain a small, tightly-focused group, so we can specialize in being a tangible business asset to each member.
We stay focused on issues that are of bottom-line importance to our members. By “sticking to business”, we are able to specialize and do useful work on your behalf. Rather than having to interject ourselves into an issue, CEE is often asked to play a role by the agencies and Congressional committees, because they value our work.
CEE delivers value to our members by using our access and analytical resources to provide reliable information and solid analysis, delivered very rapidly and in a form that helps you make good use of our work. Instead of sending a periodic newsletter, we deliver short, to-the-point memos and documents immediately as events warrant.
We have a good track record of devising and carrying out workable strategies for dealing effectively with legislative and regulatory issues. In our areas of specialization, we always strive to provide effective leadership through coalition-building. By having productive, cooperative relationships with other groups, we maximize our chances for success, strengthen our influence and remain useful to our members.
CEE operates as an adjunct to each member’s Washington office and to provide those without Washington representation an effective voice on export finance issues. Often, we are called on to provide a CEE member with customized analyses, briefings and advice.
